Lovely intro to Otautahi - my adopted home 🫂 I came here "accidentally" when I was temporarily without a permanent home (not homeless per se - I had sold my house to work in a job that provided accommodation 3 weeks out of 4, and close family had moved to Christchurch so basically "couch surfing" between employment stints!) but after living with the city & it's indomitable spirit during & after the EQs there is a deeper bond beyond whanau alone... "The light" also extends to some spectacular sea & sky scapes at dawn & dusk with the northwest arch in particular.
As for your writings here, always learn something & prodded to think about the hows & whys of things both personally experienced and/or observed, and test what you posit against them - might not be "in amongst it" anymore, but new perspectives & tools are never wasted IMHO...
Looking forward to it with bells on!
Adding bells now x Thrilled to have you here Frankie x
Beautifully written description of the light. I’m off to capture some golden, layered, tunnels of Autumnal goodness. 😁
Hoping for a photo or two?
I’ll send you some when I nab them Deb. Need some sun. 🤞🤞🤞
